I bought this drill because my 12-volt Black & Decker cordless drill/driver needed a battery replacement which would have cost about $25-$30. I had no issues with the B&D but wanted to get something that was more compact with better battery life and since I had to purchase a battery anyway I thought I may as well go for something new. The PowerSmith has met all my expectations - light, compact, powerful, and excellent battery life. Like everyone has said the carry bag is kind of cheesy but to me it's sufficient.
