I've owned a copy of this drill for a few years now, and it's held up pretty well. I have not really asked it to do heavy-duty remodeling or contractor-level work, but in comparison to a Craftsman, it is holding up *much* better. Bearing and gear noise are about the same as when new. (whereas the Craftsman is obviously galling its bearings). When driving many screws (10s, but not 100s) the exhaust air gets noticeably hot, enough so that I explicitly let it cool off.
