I bought this drill about two years ago, and it has done everything that I have asked of it. We remodeled a 50yr old house and anything that I needed it to do, it did. It has more power than most tasks that I need from it, but I would much rather have that than too little. I would classify my self as a serious DIY'er and, short of this drill turning into a lemon in the future for some unlikely reason, I imagine that this could possible be the last drill I buy. I gave it 4stars as the batteries have begun to show a little wear now, and after I full day (7-8hrs) of using it, I will normally need to charge them once each. This is really more of battery issue, though, and outside of this, this tool is awesome. I have only used the hammerdrill a few times, so I can't comment on that other than it worked as advertised. This drill is a little on the expensive side, but I don't regret getting it.
