Mine lasted less than six months. The stator magnets are contained (barely) under a small plastic door at the top back of the drill. This door is secured by a single screw on one end and plastic tabs under the other. While I was using the drill, this door came open and the stator magnets flew out of the drill. I put them back in, but could never get the door to hold properly.
