This model has been superceded in the Milwaukee line. Have used similar models from 1/4" up for years. Talked to guys at Milwaukee service center as I needed a new 1/2". They said to get the old model if I could find one as they've seen quite a few armature issues with the new ones. I've got a couple of other of these Milwaukees in other sizes that have endured more than 20 years use with minimal attention.
I tried the -21 model to check out the keyless chuck. I'm generally not a fan of keyless chucks on HD drills, but would probably have replaced the keyed chuck with a Jacobs so I figured I might as well try the keyless and then replace it with a keyed Jacobs.
