I needed a hammer drill just for a very small project that took a couple weekends of sporadic use. Although I'm a cordless type of user, I didn't mind the cord here since this wasn't going to be my main drill (I have a very nice Dewalt cordless for that), but only very limited use. The low price attracted me. The quality of the unit is not bad at all. Had no trouble going through some really thick concrete slabs. Key chuck is very old school but again, economizing has its downsides but liveable if wont be used daily.
